YouTube Music

Tesla has rolled out its latest software update, 2024.26.3.1. The update brings new features and improvements to enhance the driving experience. With this update, Tesla drivers can now enjoy YouTube Music directly from their vehicle. This feature provides access to over 100 million songs ad-free with a YouTube Premium or Music Premium account.

A premium connectivity plan or an active Wi-Fi connection is required. The Traffic Light and Stop Sign Control (Beta) feature has been updated. It now automatically proceeds through green traffic lights when there is a lead vehicle and Autopilot determines that it is safe.

The stop line visualization will turn green to indicate this action. Note that driver attention is still required. Tesla’s Vision Speed Limits feature now uses the car’s cameras to detect speed limit signs.

This enhances the accuracy of speed limit data on both highways and local roads. Detected speed limit signs will be displayed in the driving visualization and used to set Speed Limit Warnings. Prime members can now access over 100 million songs in shuffle mode and All-Access playlists on Amazon Music.

They also have access to the largest catalog of top ad-free podcasts. For full, on-demand access, users can upgrade to Amazon Music Unlimited. Premium connectivity or an active Wi-Fi connection is necessary.

The full version of Castle Doombad Classic is now available in the Tesla Arcade. This trap-based tower defense game includes over 70 new levels and touch support. To play, shift into Park and navigate to Arcade > Castle Doombad Classic.

Tesla now offers Parental Controls. This allows owners to set a maximum speed limit, limit acceleration to Chill Mode, and enable safety features.

These features include Speed Limit Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Forward Collision Warning. The controls are protected by a PIN which drivers must enter to change the settings. The status bar now displays local weather conditions alongside the temperature.

If the air quality is poor, the vehicle will show an AQI symbol and value. Tapping the temperature on the touchscreen provides detailed local weather forecasts. Premium connectivity is required for this feature.

Owners can now schedule vehicle charging or preconditioning from the redesigned menu or the Tesla mobile app. This allows for customization of charging times and conditions based on location and specific schedules. This optimizes efficiency.

Tesla’s navigation system now allows users to set sub-destinations, like specific terminals at airports. This provides more accurate routing details. The update also includes several other improvements:

– A redesigned climate panel simplifies the interface, making it easier to access settings.

– Ambient lighting options now include customizable brightness and color settings. – Zoom meetings will default to full-screen when the car is in Park. – Tesla Theater offers tutorial videos.

– Controls search functionality has been improved. This update also includes several important security fixes and improvements. These ensure driver and vehicle safety.

These updates highlight Tesla’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the functionality and user experience of their vehicles. They ensure drivers have the latest features and most secure, enjoyable driving experience possible.
