Palo Alto Networks has partnered with Hollywood star Keanu Reeves for a new cybersecurity campaign called “This is Precision AI.” The campaign aims to showcase the company’s innovative approach to combating cyber threats using AI technology. The ads feature Reeves as a character named “J,” who navigates a futuristic world of AI-related dangers. J teleports to a virtual armory in one spot to upgrade his gear before battling various threats.
Another ad shows him fighting cloned enemies on a flying mainframe. Palo Alto Networks’ Chief Marketing Officer, Unnikrishnan KP, says the campaign reflects their commitment to working closely with clients rather than using fear-based marketing. Technology is great, but you need the right cybersecurity tools in place,” KP stated.
“It’s about partnering with our customers and helping them expand.”
The company, founded in 2005, is a leader in cybersecurity with over 80,000 enterprise customers.

The campaign seeks to make technical conversations more engaging and relatable by tapping into Hollywood storytelling. Reeves was selected for his cultural impact, positive image, and reputation for versatility and talent. His involvement underscores the importance of strong reputations in the cybersecurity field.
The campaign was a collaborative effort between Palo Alto Networks, creative studio Weights & Pulleys, production studio Minted Content, and other partners. This campaign is not just an ad hoc initiative but a storytelling endeavor that builds our brand,” KP noted. “The work beyond the contract reflects our core business values and commitment to our customers.”

It emphasizes the need to keep up with advanced tools and solutions to stay protected.
