Unlock the JAK Slash in MW3 Season 5

JAK Slash

The JAK Slash is a new underbarrel attachment in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 5. It replaces the standard melee attack with a lethal slash. This allows players to equip a grenade or another lethal tool instead of the Throwing Knife.

To unlock the JAK Slash, you need to complete five out of 21 challenges in Week 3 across Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. The challenges vary and include tasks like getting hip-fire kills, using silenced weapons, and placing in the top 10. In Multiplayer, it’s recommended to play Hardcore Quick Play, Small Map Mosh Pit, or 10v10 Mosh Pit matches to complete challenges faster.

For Warzone, focus on challenges involving looting caches and finishing contracts.

Unlock the JAK Slash attachment

The JAK Slash boosts vertical recoil control, movement speed, and tactical sprint speed.

However, it decreases hip fire and tactical stance spread accuracy. Other underbarrel lethal attachments in MW3 include the JAK Purifier flamethrower, JAK Limb Ripper chainsaw, SPW 40mm grenade launchers, Corvus Masterkey shotgun, and Corvus Torch flamethrower. These are found mostly on long-range weapons like assault rifles and light machine guns.

To complete the challenge of getting kills with underbarrel lethal attachments, you need eight direct kills from the attachment itself in a match. This progress counts towards unlocking the JAK Slash. Once you’ve completed five Week 3 challenges, the JAK Slash can be equipped as an underbarrel attachment in the Gunsmith.

It provides a unique tactical advantage for close-quarters combat in both MW3 and Warzone.
